18 PAX (1 FNG) had been missing their weekly dose of The Crucible and eagerly came out to get back to normal.
Here’s what went down:
Start at parking lot next to Vietnam Memorial
Head to monkey bars across river
@ 1, 30 pullups
Follow map to loop
Complete loop (clockwise) x6
Loop:
@ 2, 40 squats
@ 3, 40 merkins
@ 4, 50 dips
Run the route in reverse
@ 1, 30 pullups
Finish at parking lot
Totals:
~3.5 miles running
420 total reps (each)
30 pullups
120 squats
120 merkins
150 dips
-Tclaps to Aloha who carried YHC to the #VT, followed closely by Houdini and Hootie
-Hint: read the pre-blasts. If not for a wrong turn, Hootie and Houdini might have been able to squeak this one out. Doubtful, but possible #pokethebear
-Domer has the Q for 7/18
-The Crucible will start at 0515 on 7/18. 0515 (need an extra 15 to add miles, it will still finish on time)
-This will be the first individual time trial (unofficial) as a way to see where we all stand for the USMC Mud Run
