As YHC pulled up to the parking lot…what’s this I see? An actual Shovel Flag.
The Conditions: Damp, 46 degrees. Joyous.
The Thang: The ASF (Actual Shovel Flag) was planted and 7 faithful got down to business.
No lie, Wednesdays are my stronger days, primarily because I go to Moe’s every Tuesday night b/c kids eat free and Nails pays for it. See yall there next week.
Mosey east on Winyah, right on Faris, plank at the stoplight. Oh yeah, feeling good today. Continue on Faris….down the hill, up the hill, with a plankorama while we wait on the 6.
Cross over Cleveland St, time for a little James J. (“Jack”) Webb in the First Baptist parking lot.
Jack Webb to 6 and back down.
Let’s do a little early morning patrol on the Swamp Rabbit Trail. We encountered some mud.
Take a left and head up towards the YMCA…lots of ferns in there today. Cross Cleveland, left on McIver, left on McDaniel, left on Augusta, right on Faris, left on Winyah, back at the ASF.
Ye Olde Moleskine:
4 miles of awesomeness around the heart of the ’05.
So during Jack Webbs we were talking about “raising the roof” and how its now primarily reserved for middle-aged white nerds, like Dwight Schrute. However, that was not always the case. In fact, on my middle school bus, nearly every afternoon during 7th grade, inevitably someone on the bus would yell out “We all No Limit Soldiers!” and everyone else would respond by furiously raising the roof and yelling back “I thought I told ya!” So I demonstrated this morning. Then about 10 minutes later someone said, “P?” and Soup, without missing a beat, let out a nice “Uhhhhh” in the gloom that would’ve made Master P and the rest of the No Limit Soldiers proud.
