The shovel flag was planted and 6 pax tested their ability to make it all the way through the dreaded 10 Cubed (10 exercises, 10 reps, repeato x10)
The Conditions: Refreshing. 46 degrees Fahrenheit, 80+% humidity, a light drizzle at the end. Shorts and t-shirt weather, although most of us showed up in long stuff. Once bitten, twice shy.
The Thang: Circle up, explain a little bit to our FNG’s, and get it on.
Round 1: Merkins x10, Russian Twists x10, Squats x10, Derkins on the bench x10, Freddy Mercury x10, Hiney Jumps x10, Dips x10, Windshield Wipers x10, Burpees x10
Repeato. Rounds 1-4 all the same.
Round 5, sub in an extra round of Squats for Merkins on a go-forward basis (YHC’s arms were noodles).
Round 7, do the derkins as partner derkins instead of on a bench.
I think after Round 6, we bearcrawled to the Peace Center wall and back (nothing too crazy).
We completed 8 rounds…or 7…or 9. YHC lost track, but we did NOT get to 10.

Good to see TWO FNG’s out there today. Guy Chapman is a friend from college and it’s a small world when an old college buddy shows up because he’s OBT’s roommates’ brother-in-law. Guy was named Cousin Eddie, but he will get re-named next time he posts because there is already a Cousin Eddie. Sorry Guy.
Castro Zuckerburg apparently used to live with OBT when they went to some school in Boston. He’s from a Cuban family and used to work in Silicon Valley. Shortened to C. Zuck for political reasons. Welcome to the pax C. Zuck!
The 10 Cubed thing is one that YHC has used before. Starts out feeling really easy, ends up not feeling so good.
