Some Bench – Anywhere but here

Fourteen PAX graciously volunteered their Friday morning to help YHC move the benches on the track.  These benches are a real safety issue; the noble men of Hurricane Alley have to dodge them each mosey we take in the gloom.  Enough is enough – let’s move them.  Before that, let’s warmup:

Goofballs x 15

SSH x 15

Tempo Merkins x 10

Cobra Squats x 10

 

YHC did his best to explain how this was intended to work.  Either my explanation was not clear, or some have selective hearing at 5:15 on a Friday.  It’s likely both.  The PAX partnered up and numbered off to four.  Depending on where station 2 and 4 finished would determine the mosey between the stations.

Station 1 (intended to be a control group to relieve Station 2)

50 x lat pulls with the new super blocks

50 x block tricep extensions

Station 2

Partners carry the bench 50 yards to the goalline

25 x seat squats

Carry the bench back another 50 yards

25 x double count flutter kicks

Rinse and repeat until Station 1 relieves and continue to station 3

Station 3 (Intended to be control group to relieve Station 4)

50 x merkins

50 x plank Jacks

Station 4 (Located on the other side of the track)

Partners carry the bench 50 yards to the goalline

25 x bench step-ups

Carry the bench back another 50 yards

25 x dips

Rinse and repeat until time expires – 3 revolutions if I recall.
