Slugs 500

17 men (including 2 FNG’s) came out to Hurricane Alley this morning for the Slug 500.  I wasn’t sure how this was going to work out time wise, so I winged the warm up and Mary.  Here is YHC’s recollection of what went down.

Warmup:
-SSH X 20 IC
-Slow Windmill X 15 IC
-Imperial Walker X 15 IC
-Mountain Climber X 15 IC

Mosey under the Bleachers

The Thang:

***Complete 50 reps of each exercise starting with number 1 and complete all reps before moving on to number 2.  All reps for each exercise must be completed before moving on to next exercise.

  1. Pullups
  2. Squat with overhead block press (block press on down squat motion)
  3. Straight leg Romanian dead lift with block
  4. Calf raises
  5. Block bench press
  6. Merkins
  7. Bent over rows with block (lat pulls)
  8. Box jumps
  9. Block curls
  10. Burpees

Return blocks and SSH or help the six get in their burpees

Mosey to back to SF for Mary

Mary:
-Flutter kicks X 25 IC
-Pretzel crunch X 15 IC (each side)
-American Hammer X 15 IC
-Side crunches X 15 IC (each side)
-WWI situps X 15

Observations:  No mumble chatter to be heard this morning so I think the workout served its purpose to provide a proper beat down to the PAX.  Hope you all enjoyed it.

-I do recall F3 Dads being hosted at Powderkeg on July 8th at 0800, regular bootcamp held at 0700
