Announcements:  Hog Day on Saturday, 5/6.  Meet at Grace Church at 7 AM and Clown Car up.  After Part at Flour Field.  KenDucky Derby Race Saturday afternoon in Downtown.

Prayer Requests:  Randy’s (Skid Mark) friend Jimmy has some important doctor’s appointments this week.  We are praying for Jimmy and his family as he continues to battle cancer.  Praise that short-term disability has kicked in from his work that is picking up 80% of his salary.  My favorite Bro-in-Law in the whole world (Water boy) and his wife, Jamie, are expecting their 3rd child.  Congrats!!!

Devotion:  “Come, Follow me,”  Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.”  At once they left their nets and followed him. -Matthew 4:19-20

Keeping in line with the simplicity of the “Q,” the next steps that Jesus is calling us into can many times be boiled down to simple, easy to follow steps.  The process is complex but, I am very thankful that he gives the steps to us incrementally.  There is no way that Peter and Andrew would have been able to process or wrap their minds around what their journey with Jesus would entail but luckily, they didn’t have to.  He gave them a simple step, “Follow me.”  My prayer for this group is that we can be obedient to the next steps that Jesus is calling us into.
