Shoulder Burn

The Conditions:  Clear, windy and and a slight nip in the air at 23F, but it feels like 11F.  I would like to say it was just cold, but Gut Shot was early and already had the flag planted by the time I arrived, so he either slept out there or more likely Hell had frozen over!

The Warm up: SSH x 25 IC, Hillbillies x 20 IC, ‘Merkins x 20 IC, MC x 20 IC

The Thang: One lap (0.2 mile) mosey then 20 block press (x 5), YHC could feel my snot freezing in my mustache on the first lap, plank while we wait on the six, One lap mosey then 20 Carolina dry docks (x 5), plank while we wait.  Mosey to the bar (and listen to Gut Shot complain, “the bar will be cold”, so YHC decide to let him count the next exercise to see if it will shut him up) Ok, supine pull-up in bursts of 5, but don’t let go on the rest while.  Gut Shot calls the rest count, rinse and repeato x 5.  Lets go to the stadium and see if we can get out of the wind for some 11’s of dips and derkins, and air presses until everyone is finished.  One minute to go so YHC give everyone a sneak peak at our new exercise.  It is a modified burpee where on rep 1, the pax do 1 ‘merkins then 1 over head clap, rep 2 the pax do 2 ‘merkins and 2 over head claps, so on.  Time, mosey to the flag.
