So before YHC left work on Friday, a certain PAX rolled by my desk after the 40s tweet, and threw down a challenge – weather in the 40s, wear shorts and short sleeves. Challenge accepted!
As we rolled into #Pitchfork for YHC #VirginQ, the temp was registering 45, perfect weather for a #beatdown. T-claps go out to Soccer Mom, Bambi, and Thumper for getting in a pre-workout 35 min run to get warmed up, or as Bambi put it, “Thumper and I were running to keep up with Soccer Mom’s mosey.”
Just about time to start, and Uber and Floppy roll up from the #Gate to get Saturday started right. It’s a decent drive from the #Gate to #Pitchfork, so glad they could make it out. On to the workout!

Mosey on to the #Pitchfork Speedway for:
Thang 1: Double Dora
YHC had planned for a little Menage’ Double Dora for this morning, but as we pulled up to the track, we were 1 shy of the neccesary PAX, so we improvised a bit. Counted off in 3 groups, and got our work out on.
Group 1 started at the near end of the track with the following:
35 Merkins
67 LBCs
100 Squats
Group 2 ran from Group 1 to the far end of the track to switch out with Group 3.
Group 3 started at the far end with the following:
35 bench dips
67 LBC 2.0s
100 Lunges DC
Once the running group arrived at your location, flapjack to the other end. Rinse and repeat until all PAX had done all of the exercises. Those overachieving Pax who are just #Beasts, looking at you Floppy, doubled down on both ends of the track, and got in twice the reps on all exercises. Since The 1st set of exercises went faster than the 2nd, we all joined up at the far end of the track for a #LungeParty to finish up the 100 DC lunges.
Once all Pax were done, mosey to the near end of the track, and we had plenty o’ time, so it was time to bring out the BLIMPS, and land these things:
Thang 2: Landing the BLIMPS
Burpees x5, Lunges x10 DC, IW x15, Merkins x20, Plank Jacks x25, Squats x30
Run to the other end of the track, drop the last letter, rinse and repeat until all done, circle around and pick up the 6.
Looks like time is up, so we mosey back to the parking lot. There was some #mumblechatter about it being 7:02, but who’s counting, as long as you’re having a good time? Just enough time for
<1 MOM
Plankin’ Around The Clock: Circle up, and plank with heads towards middle of circle, and while holding plank, start plank walk to the left, all the way around the circle until you are back where you started.
COT
T-claps to Bambi for putting together one of the only Mudrun teams from #Swamprabbit. Good luck boys!
Continued prayers for Whisper’s dad and his family
BOM, and Whisper took us out.

I finally started F3 8 weeks ago, thanks to the example of some good friends from ERBC, and a final push from a friend at work. The 1st F has been one of the harder things for me to do b/c
1. I’m not a morning person.
2, It’s easy to use the family as an excuse that I just didn’t have time
3. See reason 1 again.
The last 8 weeks though have taught me that all I need are a PAX to keep me accountable, and encourage me when I don’t think I can go any farther, and a bit of inspiration to do more than I thought I could, by leading both the workout, and picking up the occasional Q for some #3rdF as well. Seeing how the Pax of F3 comes together to encourage, to push, to support, to challenge each other, it makes me think I should have started this ages ago. Glad to be a part of it now, and YHC will continue to push others, and work to get better, 1 #Downpainment at a time.
Until next time,

Floppy Disc
Where’s Homeward Bound? Hoping to see him and Bambi burning rubber #outofthegate this Wednesday morning with special guest, Sherpa.
Thanks Floppy…I told you there was 1 PAX I didn’t get the name from…also, he’s not on the app either as part of the PAX?
