Today 17 men enjoyed the cool morning air at Powderkeg.  It was good to see a full crowd when Duplo and I emerged from the woods after dragging out the tires for this mornings workout.  A few of the PAX  are still recovering from injuries and requested no running so I thought I would oblige, only a mosey or two required this morning moving from station to station.  Here is what went down:

-SSH X 20 IC
-High Knees for 20 Sec.
-Butt Kicks for 20 Sec.
-High Knees for 20 Sec.
-But Kicks for 20 Sec.
-Monkey Humpers X 15 IC
-Merkins X 15 IC

Mosey to gravel parking lot on back side of the church for a “flipping” good time!

The Thang:

Partner for a dora style tire flip.  Extra wide tractor trailer tires could not be located in the dark this morning so the PAX were saved and only had to utilize the single wide tractor trailer tires.

One partner flips tire from one end of parking lot to the other then runs back to relieve partner.  Dora 1-2-3 consisted of:

100 Bobby Hurley’s
200 Merkins
300 Squats

Plank till everyone finished then return tires to their resting place in the woods.

Mosey to Picnic Shelter for an exercise circuit (3 rounds)

-5 pullups
-10 Dips (right leg up, left leg up, both feet on ground)
-V Ups X 10 IC

Mosey back to Flag and circle up on your six for Geronimo until time expired.

Unfortunately I accidentally deleted my recording of the announcements, prayer requests and name-o-rama so I unfortunately can recount what was said here.  Several race events are coming up, check recent backblasts by others.  Several prayer requests for family members with cancer, deaths in families and men trying to raise teenage boys.  We did have 2 guys visiting from another AO so it was good to have them in attendance and good to see Shiner and Padre back after being out for a while on the injured reserve.  Hope you enjoyed the workout as much as I did and next time I will make sure my recorder doesn’t malfunction.
