13 Pax came out on this cool morning to see what YHC had in store. I decided to do something a little different this morning since it was during the week instead of on a Saturday.
Warmup – 15 SSH and 15 Imperial Walkers
The Thang –
Instead of moseying to the church and using blocks we went under the shelter to visit the tables.
Dora 1 2 3 2 1 while partner runs around the circle.
100 Squats, 200 Dips, 300 Bench Presses, 200 LBC’s, 100 Single leg step-ups. I think we all agreed that those benches get heavy after a while.
Mosey over to the amphitheater for our daily Joe.
Joe Hendrix up the steps, lunge walk across, crabwalk down the steps.
Stairway to Seven – basically 7’s with incline merkins at the bottom and burpees at the top.
While waiting on the Six we completed some 6 inches, 45’s, 90’s and all of a sudden I felt something on my leg. I looked and saw a praying mantis had decided to join our group (NKA Pete). He did not want to leave so the rest of the PAX did 3 box jumps to the top of the amphitheater. I finally managed to join them at the top and then we all moseyed back to the circle for Mary.
3MOM – 15 corkscrews each side, then in honor of Erector’s Birthday we did 10 Erectors followed by 5 single leg erectors each leg.
COT – there were various prayer requests mentioned this morning, including our PAX in Houston and the people affected in Vegas . Napa closed us out with The Lord’s Prayer which seemed very fitting today, and all days.
