As a 44th birthday tribute to YHC’s favorite sports we did a combination skiing/soccer workout with a few burpees to keep it real.  It was supposed to be difficult but the pax ripped though this workout like it was gym class.

0530 – Warm-up

  1. Isolation Jump Squats (little, little, big) x 44
  2. Burpees x 11
  3. Russian Twists x 44
  4. Burpees x 11
  5. Hourglass Jumps x 44 (22 each leg)
  6. Burpees x 11
  7. Dips x 44
  8. Burpees x 11
  9. Lateral Jumps x 44 (22 each leg)
  10. Burpees x 11
  11. Virtual Juggle on Thighs x 44
  12. Burpees x 11
  13. Ventral hops x 44 (22 each leg)
  14. Burpees x 11
  15. Low Squat Jump Twists (smurf boogie) x 44
  16. Burpees x 11
  17. Squats x 44
  18. BIG Defensive Headers x 44

528 reps @ 2.5 seconds per rep = 22 minutes of glory!  Now what?

Mosey to the rope for some follow the leader

  1. Over and under
  2. bear crawl
  3. crab walk
  4. Bunny hop
  5. Burpee broad jump
  6. etc.
  7. etc.

0605’s – spit into two groups for 40 meter wind sprints, winner does 5, losers do 10 burpees

0610’s – MOM…take it away Hootie

  1. 20 legs out, legs in
  2. hold it for a while
  3. 20 hello dolly’s
  4. 44 LBC!

  1. Apologies on my misspelling GCOD, but, “the dictionary-approved spelling for the ring-shaped cake made of dough and fried in fat is doughnut. The shortened donut has been around since the late 1800s, but it wasn’t popularized until the late 20th century, when the successful American doughnut chain Dunkin’ Donuts made it ubiquitous.”

    So as you can see, it was an honest mistake. I’m just behind on these cultural changes.
