Ten men showed up to celebrate YHC’s 40th birthday in painful style.
Warmup as usual with:
40 SSH
Mosey over to the amphitheater where the number 40 would come back to haunt us.
On the bottom we did:
20 merkins
20 squats
20 LBC’s
20 dips
Then rinse and repeat to bring our total to 40 reps of each. On to the next level!
Basically the same at every level to the top, though we varied the merkins with werkins , derkins, incline merkins, and diamond merkins. We skipped maybe 4 levels on the dips.
May the top YHC realized we only had 9 levels so we doubled up at the top to make it an even 10. So that made it 400 merkins, 400 squats, 400 LBC’s and at least 240 dips (some did more, some less).
Since we needed to go “over-the-hill” we did a crab walk down the hill. Then reverse walk back up and mosey back to the field for MOM.
40 flutters
40 Russian twists
40 plank shoulder touches just in case anybody had any feeling in their arms left.
Thank you all for toe birthday wishes! I could not have started the day any better, though I found myself wishing I was younger every level of the amphitheater. Until next time!
