The Thang:
On the rock wall:
15 dips/10 box jumps (repeto)

Mosey down to the grass below the traffic circle for a classic Dora 123 (Merkins, LBCs and Squats). Partner runs up the hill to the picnic shelter. Lots of planking tricks thrown in here by Seal while we waited for everyone to finish.

After Dora, mosey back up the hill:
First set of stairs do 20x LBC
Second set of stairs do 20x Merkins
At the bridge 10 burpees (OYO)

Mosey to the grassy knoll for 11’s:
Russian Twists a the bottom
Derkins at the top (facing downhill)

We ran out of time and a few poor souls had to stop before their 11’s were finished. No time for Mary!


This was our biggest turnout yet for Matinee (11!). Thanks to everyone for making this workout grow. Since this was my VQ I decided to follow the K.I.S.S rule. Before the workout even started Epee put an EH on a spectator (FNG Strikeout) running through the park. Pulled him right off the sidewalk and into the circle. That is how it’s done!

Jackalope is coming up next weekend. Everyone ready?
No workout at Matinee on Memorial Day. Some stout brothers will be attempting the Murph that day though.
We would love to see more people come to Night Ops at the Lion’s Den (Zoo parking lot in Cleveland Park) at 1900 Sunday evenings. This, like Matinee, is there for the brothers who can’t make early morning workouts.
