Joe said to tell you all, "hello!"

When the call went out for a Q last night, I hesitated at first.  I wasn’t planning a workout at the time, and was looking forward to having someone else punish me.  After a few minutes of reflection, I decided to dust off an oldie but goodie from my repertoire that was sure to please the PAX.  The weather was perfect and the numbers were good, so I retrieved my cards from the glove box to the delight of the crowd.

Lets begin

Warm Up

*I almost always do some form of slow merkin in the warm up, so this should have been seen as foreshadowing.

The Thang

Mosey to the bottom of the hill for some deck o’ death.

Perform the number shown on the card turned over with the suit corresponding to the exercises below.  J=11, Q=12, K=13

Hearts = Merkins
Diamonds=Diamond Merkins
Spades=Squats
Clubs=4-count Flutters

Aces=Joe Hendricks  (a note here-if you haven’t posted to The Burbs for a Radar or 00 Q, you are missing out on the delicacy that is our Joe Hendricks stairs)

I let 00 shuffle the deck and he did not disappoint.  Somehow the Aces were all VERY close together in the stack.  #crowdpleaser

We had some time left after the deck was complete so we did another Joe for good measure.

Then Hard Had started complaining about how his butt hurt from all of the lunges that Iceman prescribed at RunAWaze yesterday so I had everyone lunge walk down and back behind the church.  He thanked me with kind words.

We still had time left so we did another Joe Hendricks #unecessary

After this we hit the wall for some people’s chair until time expired.

As always it was a blast.  Great to see Ahhhhhnold back in the gloom.  From some new (to me) faces to some crusty old vets, everyone killed it this morning.
