23 other men resisted the soft call of the #fartsack to join YHC for his VQ at the #Pitchfork. YHC should have known that this was going to be rough when both Bambi and Affordable Care Act groaned over text when they previewed the workout.  It was bad on paper, it was worse in practice… Annnnnnnywho, here is how it went down:

Warm up:
Planks while repeating the F3 Mission (regular and low planks)
Hillbillies x 25 in cadence

Thang:
Mosey to the track for the Whisper Mile (a #pitchfork original)
Whisper jogs 5.5 laps for one mile.  Pax flanks Whisper in two lines.  Pax runs with Whisper for laps 1,3,5 and Indian runs 2 and 4.  The first Indian Run lap was basically mass chaos with YHC in the center of it all.  Get it together man!  Lap 4’s Indian Run was much smoother.  Whisper ran all 5.5 laps.  Awesome job brother!

Mosey to the Pitchfork International Speedway – on the way, some pax expressed their unending gratitude to YHC for pulling the Speedway back out of the bag of tricks.

Partner up for 4 rounds of misery:

Round 1 – partner 1 runs a lap around the speedway while partner 2 does LBCs x 15, Merkins x 15, and Squats x 15.  Flapjack for 5 minutes.

Repeato after a 30 count

Round 2 – partner 1 runs a lap around the speedway while partner 2 does Squats x 10, LBCs x 10, and Diamonds x 10.  Flapjack for 5 minutes.

Repeato after a 30 count

Round 3 – partner 1 runs a lap around the speedway while partner 2 does good ole’ fashioned burpees.  Flapjack for 5 minutes.

YHC checked his watch and yep…we have time for one more round.  A joyful noise was made by all.

Round 4 – partner 1 runs a lap around the speedway while partner 2 does Wide Merkins x 10, Squats x 10, and LBCs x 10.  Flapjack for 5 minutes.

Mosey back to parking lot for Mary with Cool Breeze as the rabbit.

Nature Boy brought his 2.0s (No Bars and The Butcher) and was encouraged by their willing participation.  He reminded us of the importance of encouraging young men in our lives.
