14 men rolled out of the fartsack into the gloom around two shovel flags to try and tame the “Beast”. YHC threw in some bricks and logs just to make it fun.

Warm Up

  • SSH x 20 IC
  • IW x 25 IC
  • Smurf Jack x 20 IC

Mosey around the parking lot to warm up the legs for the “Beast”

The Beast

Six pain stations around the parking lot. Each loop was just under 1/4 mile. Plank it up after each circuit.

  • 10 Merkins x 6 Stations =60
  • 10 Sumo Squats x 6 =60
  • 10 Mountain Climber (double count) x 6 =60 dc
  • 20 LBCs x 6 =120 Make ’em count! Do it uphill!

The LBCs became the Kryptonite that slowed the Pax so YHC called an audible. We stopped at 4 circuits.

Mosey up to the shed to toss some bricks and logs.

Arms

7 Curls with bricks or logs or whatever we could find

  • 7 half curls
  • 7 half to chest
  • 7 full range
  • Straight arms for 15 sec
  • overhead presses x 15
  • triceps x 15

Rinse and Repeat. The mumble chatter or mostly grunting picked up on round two. My arms were toast after this too.

Mosey around the church then jailbreak to the shovel flag for Mary.

  • LHC (love handle crunch) x 20 right side
  • elbow plank 20 sec
  • LHC x 20 left side
  • elbow plank 20 sec
  • Ski abs x 10 IC

There was a little confusion when naming our FNG. “Is that Steroid or Hemorrhoid?”. We stuck with “Roid”.
