Just when you think it’s safe to go outside with no gloves on, the weather gets cool again.  5 faithful ’05ers (and one Cleveland Forester) met YHC at the Starbucks on “Augusta Street” to get this thang going.

The Conditions: Little nippy.  45-ish, 54% humidity.  Clear.

The Thang: Started out NE on Augusta, then took a quick left down W. Faris, left on Augusta Drive, right on Tomassee, right onto Winyah Street to make sure no one was waiting for us at ACE.

Plank-o-rama.  Left arm, or right arm, or both.

Continue down Tommassee, right on Wormy, left on Oakview, left on Westminster, left on Waccamaw.  Reconvene for some planks and merkins.

Continue south on Waccamaw, left on Seminole, check on the kids, left on Meyers.  Squats and Panamanian Piranhas (Russian Twists…but you know, since Putin has his money in a Panamanian tax shelter…).  Continue north on Meyers, down the hill, up the hill, left on Philips, left on Augusta Court, right on Augusta…Court?…cross Augusta, slight right on Byrd, down the hill.  Everyone recited their favorite moment from the Clemson Tigers’ 2015 season.  Turnaround, right on Rock Creek, around the bend, up the hill…that sucked…left on Woodvale, right on Byrd, right on Augusta, to Starbucks.

Ye Olde Moleskine:

There was a spirited discussion about the “Augusta Road” area, when it’s actually “Augusta Street” from downtown to at least I-85.  Maybe we should just call it “Highway 25” and be done with it?  Then there’s the endless parade of streets with “Augusta” in the name: E Augusta Place, W Augusta Place, Augusta Drive and Augusta Court.  The school is called Augusta Circle…where does that factor in?

Everyone ran hard and got a good workout.  We went exactly 4 miles and plenty of difficult pain stations along the way.

Again, not a ton of diversity at Aces Wild.  Our War Daddy was 37-year old Katina, our War Baby was 30-year old LIBOR.

Announcements: Hands on Greenville / F3 Dads / Homes of Hope convergence: 4/30 at 7 AM at Gideons House.

BRR, etc.

Prayers for the Reynolds family, my sick wife, and Satisfry’s move to his parents and then back again.
