10 bros ready to run a Turkey Trot in an hour and eat turkey in a few hours after that rolled out to Bobby Richardson Park crank up their metabolism and get the day started right. As my first guest Q, I did not want to disappoint their high expectations on this day of giving thanks…
Here’s how it went down.
Getting warm:
SSH x 20
Burpees x 10
IW x 19
Mosey to the playground, jump the fence, get set forsome 11’s:
Pull-ups and dips
Mosey back to the parking lot for some zig zags:
run up and back in between the medians, always facing the baseball field. With this, the participant got in a good dose of running forward, backwards, and shuffling sideways. At each end of the median, an exercise was performed, and at each end of the median, two more of the exercise of choice were added. With 5 medians and 6 runways, the reps were 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12. First exercise was burpees, second exercise was ‘merkins. And that was enough of that.
Circle up for some “+ 1’s” (disclaimer- there is probably already an official name for this exercise, but I’m not sure what it is, and I’m the guest Q, and it’s Thanksgiving, so today, it is what it is). In +1, the group performs an exercise while the +1 runs a lap around the median in the parking lot. With agroup of 10, obviously we executed 10 exercises while the +1 ran theroute. The exercises consisted of ‘merkins, Monkey-humpers, flutter, 6 inches, squats, x’s and o’s. Freddie Mercurys, In and Out’s, but hold on the in position, anda few more that must have not been that good because I can’t remember them. with 8 minutes left andaclose set of bleachers, we had time for a little more pre-Thanksgiving lactic acid buildup.
Mosey to the bleachers for 3 sets of 20 dips and 10 derkins.
Circle up for Mary:
Flutter x 30
Big Boy sit ups X 15
Moleskin:
Bicycle repair at Tom Lawrence’s house 12/5, 12/12. 926 Club Lane. Strong F3 showing fellas-
