Groundhog Day

Nine pax did not see their shadows at the Tank Yard.

Conditions: foggy and a humid 55 degress. Must be February.

Warm Up:

  • IW x20
  • SSH x20

Head over to the parking lot. Line up for an Indian Run around the baseball fields.

Stop at the playground for a hamster groundhog wheel: 2 pull-ups, run a lap around the playground, 2 merkins, run a lap. Repeat for a total of 20 laps.

Mosey down to the pool parking lot for Dora: 100 merkins, 200 jump squats, 300 double count flutters. While partner 1 exercises, partner 2 back pedals up the steep ramp and then runs down the road and down the other ramp.

Lesson learned: back pedaling up the ramp after jump squats is super easy and highly recommended.

Mosey back up to the tennis courts for some shoulder work. YHC planned on doing 10 merkins every minute for 10 minutes, but realized that was way too easy. The first 5 sets of 10 were performed every 30 seconds, the next 5 sets of 10 were then done in 60 second intervals for a total of 100 merkins in 7.5 minutes.

Lets get the heart rate back up one more time with suicides, running the full 5 tennis courts.
