Golden's Escape

Under the guise of going to work, Golden Sombrero Qed for about 30 minutes before leaving the PAX to their own devices.  Golden decided to bring some running to the workout, as he fartsacked the BeastSide track workout the previous day.  At the time that I am writing this, Golden still claims he is at work.  Following is a true recollection of fictionalized events.

Warmup: 20xSSH and IW.

Thang: Mosey to the front of the church in the Golden Grass, dedicated to Golden because he likes exercising in six inch ryegrass.  We did some exercises, maybe some merkins and some LBCs. I don’t really remember because I didn’t keep track of it and didn’t know that Golden was bailing on the workout AND on the blackbast for “work.”  The exercises involved some sort of plank in the grass as YHC tried to mumblechatter about getting wet.  #mymumblechatterisweak.  #stillneedareplacementforSnowden.

Lap around the church.  Stop in the top drive.  After 20 flutters – lap around the church; return and 20 flutters and 20 mountain climbers – lap around the church; 20 flutters, 20 mountain climbers, and some other exercise I can’t remember (perfect squats?)  Run around to the back of the church for a round of dips/people’s chair and Joe Hendricks.  Some plank was thrown in throughout.

Run back up to the top of the church, back to the Golden Grass. 10 Burpees OYO, Golden bails.  Leaves YHC to finish.  YHC decides it is a good idea to through some PAX in the middle.  Oui Oui calls out squats, Billie Jean calls out 15 burpees OYO; Wrinkle decides 10 more burpees would be a good idea.  Zorro smokes everyone with some Hello Dollys and Russian Twists.  YHC finishes up with some merkins and werkins.  The PAX head down to the parking lot for some Mary – Ukranian twists, six inches, Big Boy situps (horrible cadence by YHC), and some plankwork.

COT: Announcements – Greer on Saturday.  Be there.  We need some more Qs and VQs for the Burbs.  Step up.   If you’ve been coming for a month you can do it.
