We had an awesome group yesterday!  25 PAX with 3 FNGs is strong!

Warm Up:

SSH – IC x 25

IW – IC x 25

Merkins – IC x 15

Take a lap around the parking lot

The Thang:

I took this workout straight from a Sponge Bob Q at Legacy a few weeks ago.  I was thoroughly beat down and loved it, so I know I needed to share it with the Golden Strippers.  Each suit of the deck of cards was an exercise, and the number corresponds with the reps.  For face cards, the reps were Jack – 11, Queen – 12, King – 13, Ace – 14.

Hearts – Burpees

Diamonds – Merkins

Spades – Squats

Clubs – Lunges

After every 5th card is pulled, we run up the hill to the stop sign and back.

We made it a good 3/4 of the way through the deck with lots and lots of reps.  I swear I pulled 50 cards that were clubs.  I don’t think I’ve ever done so many lunges.

With about 8 minutes to go, we locked arms as a group and went up Nippler’s Hill backwards twice.  I thought I owed the 3 FNGs this experience and doing with with 25 guys was awesome.  No man left behind!

20 big boy sit ups

Hello Dolly – IC x 15

Rosalita – IC x 15

That’s all the time for today!  Great work by ALL  the PAX.  I was proud of those FNGs for putting out!

Something called the Jackalope is this Saturday.

PAX need to get out to Tower of Terror in Simpsonville on Monday mornings.  We only had 3 show up this week.  It’s a great AO and with 25 strong coming to Golden Strip, there’s no reason why more can’t post on Mondays.

Continued prayers for the multiple sick kids and for the families

  1. Well done Look Out Below. The Deck of Death is not to be taken lightly! I second that about the Tower of Terror- such a great place to post. I miss posting there, and it’s not because I don’t love it. Eye of the Tyger has my attention now, but I will return to TOT occasionly once EOTT gets its wings. Way to lead brother.
