Gluten and I always joke that if it was just F1 we would never have come back. It was the fellowship at the COT and BOM that kept us coming back after that initial brutal beatdown. The fitness takes a backseat.

That fellowship was on full display this morning. Last week I shared a prayer request about my 9 year old daughter losing her hearing. The brothers covered me with encouragement and gave praise to God to heal her. I mentioned in COT that her hearing test had moved to today. Hopefully we can get some answers. As I was about to start my closing prayer, Hook stepped in and asks the men to lay hands on YHC and pray for 2.3, M, and myself. Thanks does not seem adequate. I love all my F3 brothers!!!

If you’re still interested in the workout, here’s how it went down:

Warm up

Bear crawl to first corner. 15 Merkins: 1 squat, run to next corner, 14 M: 2 squats, bear crawl to next corner, 13:3, run to next corner, 12:4, regroup with PAX. Continue for 3 more circuits back to 1 Merkin: 15 squats. At the final corner the 16s earned its name. 16 Merkins: 16 squats.

Lap on the track back to the flags.

Announcements: Williamston AO 3/14 Mineral Springs, Shamrock Shuffle 3/14, Mud Run still open, Hook wants to start a bible study or group text, Night Ops 3/14 8pm at Lion’s Den.

Prayers: Overdraft’s wife migraine, OD continue to serve her, BS daughter Emma hearing test 3/4, Crunchy’s friend’s mom in Hospice, Wahoo asks for patience with children and to react properly, several injuries (UGA, Nyquil, Rock Stop), pray for all our F3 brothers elsewhere.

PS

Emma will be fitted with two hearing aids. Some mid and low frequencies are muffled or nonexistent. Hopefully this will solve many of the problems. We continue to pray that God’s will be done. We all have a purpose, we just may not know what it is yet.
