Dora Does Mucho Chesto

  • Workout Date - 02/12/2020
  • Q In Charge - Turban
  • The PAX - Turban, Guano, Bed Pan, UP, Butterbean, Soccer Mom, Cockpit, Franzia, No Show
  • AO - Tower of Terror

9 came out to see what wonderful, nostalgic, angsty songs would be featured on the latest Turban Q playlist.  Turban went all in with Cake, Weezer, Smashing Pumpkins, Sound Garden, Pearl Jam and so on.  And we worked out too!  Our FNG from last week, Bed Pan, made it back out despite getting pulled over on Main St. on the way (he got off with a warning and apparently mentioned F3…surprised that worked!).

PAX:  Turban, Guano, Bed Pan, UP, Butterbean, Soccer Mom, Cockpit, Franzia, No Show

Conditions:  Balmy 52 degrees with a little left-over dampness from the previous days of rain

Mission:  The mission of F3 is to plant, grow, and serve men’s small workout groups for the invigoration of male community leadership.

Disclaimer:  I’m not a professional, so modify as necessary.

Circle of Trust:

Rasheed has the Valentine’s Day Q Friday.

No Show and Butterbean are looking at their calendars to fight over Wednesday and Friday next week.

UP left early so we signed him up to Q Monday (since there’s no school and he won’t have to leave early).  I sent him a message so we’ll see if he confirms!

Cockpit – Friend Travis in Asheville has been fighting cancer for 7 years.  The chemo is no longer doing the trick so he is at home resting with no other treatments planned.  We prayed boldly for God’s healing on him and also prayed from strength and comfort for him and for his wife and children.

Franzia – His uncle is also still battling cancer (pancreatic) and the treatments are losing their effectiveness and the doctors are suggesting stopping.  We again prayed boldly for God’s healing on him and also prayed for strength and comfort for him and his family and praised his perseverance as he’s continued treatments to this point to help doctors learn more as his condition is hereditary and the more they learn the better the outlook is for his son if he gets diagnosed down the road.
