I thought I would give the guys a day off and play a few hands of cards this morning. After all the holiday celebrating I thought they could use a little break…NOT! But first a little warm up.

WARM UP: Windmill X 10 I.C., Squats X 20 I.C., Hillbillies X10 I.C.

THE THANG: We started in with “DECK OF DEATH”. And it started out just as the name implies. This was brutal. Each suit had an exercise attached to it. Diamonds=Merkins, Hearts=Mtn. Climbers, Clubs=Jump Squats and Spades=Burpees. Six cards were dealt out face up. All of the same suit were put in four different piles and totaled up. The values for the amount of the four exercises were 2-10 = 2-10 exercises. Jack=11, Queen=12, King=13 and Ace=14. We complete (4) rounds which equaled 24 cards before taking a break for Blackjack. Each man completed 23 Merkins, 40 Mtn. Climbers, 41 Jump Squats and 72 Burpees in the first four rounds.

Time for “BLACKJACK”: I wanted to be sure everyone came up with a winning hand of “21” after all the hard work with D.O.Death.  Everyone started at the designated area and performed (1) Big Boy Sit-up at the start. They then moseyed down the track to designated cone and pumped out (20) Bobby Hurlies. Back to start and pumped out (2) Big Boy Sit-ups. Back down the track for (19) Bobby Hurlies. Back and forth until (20) Big Boy Sit-up’s were completed at start and (1) Bobby Hurley completed at end. Their was a lot of mumbling and groaning on this one. This took much longer than expected. Instead of just (21) it turned out to be (210) of each exercise by each man. Sorry guys.

Because of the length of time for Blackjack we didn’t have time to finish the last four rounds of Deck of Death. Maybe we will finish that up at the next “Q”. We had just enough time for some Mary.

MARY: FLUTTER KICKS X 10 I.C., AMERICAN HAMMER X 10 I.C., MERKINS X 15 I.C.

COT:  Prayer Request – Prayers of for Whittle’s son who has recently lost his job. He sure can use them. Prayer request for Beanie Weenie’s boss, Robbie Roach, to find out next step to recovery.

No Announcements but safe travel to Waterboy and all the folks traveling to Tampa.

To everyone have a blessed and prosperous new year.

YHC: Whittle
