Deck O Death 2.0

11 showed up at Legacy for the sleep-in/sunrise Saturday beatdown from YHC.  Mr. Winslow had given a great idea for a workout at Crucible, however, that’ll have to wait for another day…YHC felt the desire to have Music at the workout.  Plus, we hadn’t had a Deck O Death in a while.

Fun part about this workout in general…We’ve been doing the Deck O Death for over a year now (maybe once a quarter?).  In the first one, we had to audible the hills out and it took the full hour.  We’ve progressed well to where we can complete the hill sprints the whole way, and there is time leftover for more Pain.

So with that…YHC upgraded the format for more fun.

Every 5 cards leads to a sprint up 1D’s hill (of which JV from Charleston and Denied pushed each other to ridiculous speeds).  Somebody put them down for Mountain Goat legs in BRR.

Took the full time.  Music played was a schizophrenic mix of Techno (Calvin Harris), Rock (Rage, Cake), Miley Cyrus (no explanation needed), and Rap (Kendrick Lamar, Kanye, HOP).

NAKED MOLESKIN
– The workout was a SMOKEFEST; great efforts by everyone.  No Merlot, but YHC was close
– A lot of hibernation from the past cold weather.  Get guys back out and EH FNGs.  This weather is the perfect time to get people out!
