Saturday’s at PowderKeg are usually a toss up with no official Q on the calendar. I had an idea pop in my head so I volunteered. The Beast would live up to the name.

Warm up

SSH, Hillbilly’s, Mr Burns rolls in late so we need to do SSH again, Mountain Climbers, and Mericans.

Jog around the church. SEAL has planned to double-down with F3 Dads and brought his son Briar. He can’t keep up with the run so I call an audible. Let’s stay within sight.


Six stations, run in between, increasing reps each round.

  • 10 Mericans x 6 stations = 60
  • 15 squats x 6
  • 20 mountain climbers x 6
  • 25 LBCs x 6
  • 30 SSH x 6
  • 35 Flutters x 6
  • 40 air presses x 6
  • Burpees 1 at station 1, 2 at 2, …6 at 6

Observation: BOGO smoked us all on the Beast with Padre and Slug close behind.

Wall of fire

Line up in people’s chair on the wall. One man jumps out and does 15 LBCs and so on down the line. We had to stop every 3-4 men cause my thighs were smoking. Crowd Pleaser!!!
