My first time Qing a running workout.  Apparently not many were interested in running in circles in Greer.  It was an intimate setting–just the six of us.  We pondered many imponderables, such as why is Snowden unable to get out of the fartsack when he could literally walk to workout from his home.  He could walk out his front door and hit a golf ball to the track.  Seriously, what is so hard about coming.  Signed, The PAX

For those who care, we warmed up in one direction, changed direction for the interval work, and then changed direction yet again for a cool down.  Pretty complex.  Stretched.

The Thang: 800s at interval pace, 400 recovery.  Rinse and repeat x 5.  6000m of near-rapture enjoyment.

The Slow Suburban Dads of the Eastside would like to thank Sponge for gracing us with his presence.  He spoke openly of his travels to Chicago this coming weekend, a trip to Wrigley, and enjoying a bachelor party weekend.  Beer drinking.  Pizza Eating.  The SSDs remembered those days fondly and wept internally, reciting quietly Dylan Thomas’ “Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night.”  Or maybe that was just me.

Standard Announcements and other fare that you read on the other backblasts.  Golden was not there, but send him a text of encouragement if you will.
