With the conclusion of the IronPAX challenge on Tuesday, the Golden Strip faithful saw my name on the Q list for today and started grumbling about the Board of Pain.  “What a wonderful idea” I thought to myself.  “Everyone is already used to extreme workouts, lets just keep this ball rolling!”

Not everyone shared my enthusiasm for the board, so i promised not to bring it out.  As tempting as it was to pull a bait-and-switch with a surprise board, i decided to try to make some friends this morning and celebrate the creation of a new AO with some sweet treats

Warm Up:

SSH x 20 IC

IW X 20 IC

Windmills x 10 IC

Through the Tunnel X 10 IC

Arm stretching, mublechatter

The Thang:

Indian run the scenic route to the bus loop, where we get ready for some Burpee builders:

Corner 1 – 10 Merkins

Corner 2 – 10 Merkins, 10 Ski Abs

Corner 3 – 10 Merkins, 10 Ski Abs, 10 Squats

Corner 4 – 10 Merkins, 10 Ski Abs, 10 Squats, 10 Burpees

Mosey on over to the track, with a quick stop at the playground for a ring of fire – Each pax performs 10 wide-arm merkins in order, rest of the pax holds plank.

Down at the track get ready for our sweet treat: Boberry Biscuits!

Partner up.  Partner 1 runs the track, stopping at each corner for 10 burpees.  Partner 2 holds six inches until Partner 1 gets back, then flapjack and repeat.

Round 2 of Biscuits with the same partners, but Big Boys at the corners with one partner holding Al Gore

Mosey back to the flag, stopping at the wall for the peoples court.  All Pax hold the Peoples chair while taking turns performing 10 Diamond Merkins

COT:

New unnamed AO starting next Friday, 10/4 at Gower park.  Workouts will start at 0515, go for 60 minutes, be extremely intense, and the park will be gloomy.  The aim is to have an IronPAX level workout every week, so most people should avoid coming, its most likely too hard for you.
