You know it has been hot when an 85 degree workout feels reasonable. 6 men posted at Matinee on this fine summer day, a few of whom have been absent due to vacation and other unavoidable things. I was happy to see them back, so I rewarded them with burpees.


Warm Up:

Smurf Jacks x 15 (I love these things)

Imperial Walkers x 15

The Thang:

Mosey down to the lower traffic circle for a little Dora 1-2-3 with 100 burpees, 200 mountain climbers (2 count) and 300 squats. Partner runs up the hill to the end of the picnic shelter- just far and steep enough to hurt. I was wondering if adding the burpees would make Dora run long, and it did. The pain was sublime.

After Dora we ran back up the hill to the flag. In the field by the stage we kicked off some 11’s with Merkins down by the river and dips up on the stone wall. This left us with about 2 minutes for Mary.
