Blocks, Burpees & Bentgrass

9 PAX decided to get their rip on early Monday morning with a newschool ‘Burbs beatdown.

Warmup in cadence:

15x Imperial Walkers

10x merkins

10x Side Straddle Hops

Enough of that, let’s dance.

The Thang:

Mosey to the #snakeshack to pick up a cinderblock. Pay the 5 pullup toll every time you pass the pullup bars, coming or going.

Haul the blocks to the auxiliary soccer field that lies between the main field and the elementary school. Circle up in the middle for the main event.

Each corner of the field was a dedicated zone – 5 burpees, 10 big boy situps, 15 merkins and 20 squats. Start in the middle with 15 overhead block presses, run to the burpee station, 5 burpees and then back to the middle for 15 more presses. Then run to situps, back to presses, run to merkins, etc.

The PAX performed 5 total rounds. Overhead presses, block swings, split squats, rows and then the finisher – carry the block with you as you run to each station and perform the exercise with the block in your hand.

Lug the blocks back the quarter mile to the #snakeshack, cranking out pullups along the way. Mosey back to the COT and we’re done.
