Beast at the Gate

It was a lovely morning with Uber, Annie Oakley, Hard Hat and Floppy at The Gate.  Annie had early morning kitchen duty but arrived just in time for the warm-up.  Uber arrived in Hard Hat’s truck and Hard Hat dissed Floppy’s “shovel” “flag”.  Look at the time!


  • 10 Hand Release Pushups
  • 10 Burpees
  • 10 Butterfly Sit-ups
  • Bear Crawl around circle back to starting position
  • 10 Jumping Squats
  • 10 Jumping Lunges (single count)
  • Mosey to “track”

34 minute Beast

  • 40 Hand Release Pushups
  • Run two laps
  • Bear Crawl 200′ (entire length of Crape Myrtles)
  • Run two laps
  • 60 Butterfly Sit-ups
  • Run two laps
  • Burpee Broad Jump 200′
  • Run two laps
  • 80 Squats (legs straight, back bent?)
  • Run two laps
  • Lunges 200′ (knee touching ground)
  • “Run” two laps
  • Mosey to the parking lot

YHC: “Hard Hat, will you wrap this up?”

  • 20 Heals to Heaven
  • 20 Erectors
  • Uber: “Have you tried…”
  • Floppy (to himself): “This is going to hurt.”
  • One legged erectors, 20 count each side
  • Core Calligraphy: “ABCDEFGHIJKLM…N…O….P.q.r”
  • Look at the time!

COT…skipped count but it was definately four, don’t recall any announcements or prayer requests but Hard Hat likes the idea of a Wednesday Gate with a running theme so maybe we can get it on the schedule.  Floppy will Q another Bodyweight Beast Lite at The Burbs tomorrow.

Deep Thoughts…be thankful we can fly the American flag, no matter how small it happens to be.
