The Thang

Mosey to the park entrance for dips and derkins, 20 each OYO.  Then keep moving down Trade Street, stopping near Rhythm & Blues.  Time for some NSA style 11s covering the two blocks to Poinsett, with burpees at the bottom and smurf jacks at the top, along with 10 jump squats at the Victoria Street intersection coming and going.  That adds up to 11, right?

This took up most of the workout and left the legs pretty wobbly, but there was still a little time left on the school bell when we finished.  So we moseyed back to the park and lined up at the field.  The PAX did 90 seconds of LBCs AMREP, then sprinted across to the other side for 90 seconds of shoulder touches before sprinting back.  A lot of mumblechatter about my ability to count to 90.  Time is getting short, so we prepare to mosey back to the circle for a little Mary when a 6:13 train rolled in.  10 burpees.  We are out of time, so we jailbreak back to the circle for COT.

COT

During the holiday season, it is easy to get caught up in the celebrations and take for granted the many blessings God has bestowed on us all.  Thanks to Bio for the reminder about those in need in our community, particularly in regards to the homeless as the temperature drops.  Discussion of either starting a food drive or making sure we have solid participation in the Christmas run food drive.

iTunes let us see how what we are doing gets noticed in the community.  The Parks and Recreation department has asked him to provide information on F3 so they can spotlight how the park is being used by the community.  We were all afraid she was going to ask him for sod to repair the circle.

It was a pleasure as always.
