Anniversary Q: 12 Days Beatdown

22 PAX showed up in the misty, humid gloom for YHC’s anniversary Q.  No rain, but plenty of water on the ground.  #buttsoaker

The Warm-up:

The Thang:

YHC decided to celebrate 1 year of F3 with a musical Q, so in keeping with the season, the PAX were subjected to treated to a workout based on the 12 Days of Christmas.  The exercises were performed just like in the song with a short mosey between each “day”:

  4. Crab Cakes
  5. Sumo Squats
  6. Freddie Mercury
  7. Flutter Kicks
  8. Double-count Merkins
  9. Double-count Lunges
  10. Mexican Squats

  12. Broad-Jump Burpees

The exercises were accompanied by a 41-minute playlist with nothing but “The 12 Days of Christmas” (you’re welcome).  Performers included:

  • Straight No Chaser

The 12th day was completed with lots of time to spare, so we went back in time and worked down the pyramid.  As the time began to run out, YHC called an audible, eliminating the moseys and encouraging the PAX to complete as many days as possible OYO.  The playlist wrapped up with 30 seconds to spare.  TClaps to all the PAX for the hard work, and an extra clap to those who got all the way back to Day 1!
