(almost) Late for the Late Thang beatdown

YHC was the first to arrive for Late Thang despite not being particularly early.  A couple more minutes passed and still no one else had arrived. YHC wondered if he had gained a reputation for body odor, which might explain the dearth of PAX. He then reasoned that a growing reputation for  ‘brutal beatdowns’ was the more likely cause. Then he settled on the lure of free coffee at Golden Strip, as the reason. Then like deer venturing out from the woods, YHC was joined by four other brave, masculine souls, all looking to better themselves.

WARM UP:

Side Straddle Hop IC 25

Burpees 10 OYO

High Knee Jump 10 OYO

THE THANG:

Mosey to underneath the Liberty Bridge via the Peace Center amphitheater steps

Pullups: Single file line. Do 6 pullups, then go back to the end of the line. Repeat, decreasing reps by 1 each time. On last set, do pullups to exhaustion. The guy in line behind you can push up on ankles if needed. Plank when done.

Partner Merkins/Werkins/Derkins to exhaustion: (1 set of each exercise for each partner) When done do LBCs until PAX finishes.

Liberty Run: Run across the Liberty bridge and back.

Mosey to the bottom of the Falls Park hill 

Bear Crawl up Falls Park Hill then Lunge back down.  Do 5 Burpees OYO at the base of hill.  #distinctabsenceofmubblechatter

Plank when done.  Repeato

Mosey back to restaurant patio.

Dips OYO 30 at the small amphitheater stage.

Mosey to Spill the Beans patio

People’s Chair then 20 Perfect squats.   Repeato
