For the first time in a while, I broke it the cold weather gear, including the Under Armour base layer and a stocking cap. Everyone else was similarly dressed with the exception of Slap Chop, who is impervious to cold and was wearing compression shorts only. Since it was cold, we did a warmup.
Mountain climbers IC.
This would be a 0.0. Slow walk to the portico for heel touch squats. #perfectform
We worked our way around the church as follows: merkin walk until Iceman got tired and decided to stand up.
Spideywalk until Ice decided he was tired and stood up.
Plank walk until Ice decided he was tired and stood up. #whomadeIcetheQ
Inverted rows at the stairs and then flutters. 2 sets.
Lunge Walk and reverse lunge walk, interrupted by burpees and Freddie Mercs IC and two point plank
More Spideywalk, and then a People’s chair in anticipation of Joe.
Joe Hendricks 2 sets
Down to the retaining wall for the Bulgarian split squat – IC with the Sesame Street Count.
More Spideywalk, then some lunge walk and finally some merkins IC to finish out the workout.
I listened to the COT recording to put the names in the Backblast. I said my own name wrong and was slurring my speech. #oxygendeprivation
Spideywalk is my new favorite exercise. I am the only one who liked it. It felt like you were working as hard as possible for a couple of minutes at a time, and you look up and have moved maybe 7.5 feet. Time slows down.
Pray for Double Check’s wife, Diana, and health issues.
Let’s keep the numbers up. Enjoyed the company at the Burbs.
