T-claps to Inspector Gadget for posting and shaking the rust off from the USMC Mud Run Saturday.

For the second straight week, this workout looked much better on paper. Reality hit and so did the pain. You don’t need one second of running to get smoked, as YHC is learning quickly. Hope to see some new faces out. Mondays are great days to get out and post at one of the six (6!) AO’s in the area. Enjoyed the fly by from the #Beverly hill runners.

We had a visit from a homeless man who engaged us in conversation, which ultimately ended in a request for money for food. My almost instant regret was not inviting him to hang out and finish the workout with us. As the temps drop it is a sobering reminder to see people sleeping outside with little for warmth. Now is a great time to go through the closet and find jackets, blankets, sweaters, sleeping bags etc that haven’t been used in a while and donate them.
